PlanForward 2050 Comprehensive Plan

PlanForward is the Lincoln-Lancaster County 2050 Comprehensive Plan. The Plan embodies Lincoln and Lancaster County's shared vision for the future, out to the year 2050. The Lincoln-Lancaster County 2050 Comprehensive Plan is a roadmap to “plan forward,” not only in time, but in concept, to envision a community that is Thriving, Livable, Equitable, Innovative, and Resilient. These five themes are found throughout the new Plan and build the long range vision for our One Community.

Wisconsin Blight largest ever seen, experts say

Attorneys who specialize in eminent domain in Wisconsin say such a broad blight designation is unprecedented for its size and the fact that the area included several luxury homes. Mount Pleasant declared 2,800 acres as blighted.

Oregon essentially bans single-family house zoning.

An article presented by NPR describes that the Oregon legislature in 2019 updated their laws to add “missing middle housing” into existing neighborhoods. Potentially banning single-family house zoning.
